Pots, Statues and Sundries

Plants 'n' Gardens can provide customers with a range of pots suitable for most styles and sizes of garden. Whether you are looking for a modern black cube container, a traditional terracotta pot or a salt-glazed pot, these and more are fully stocked throughout the year. Large glazed and unglazed pots are available, as well as plain or patterned designs. The owner, Paul, has been throwing pots for many years and this experience is called upon for any decisions on the style of pots stocked. You may see some of his own work tucked under the benches, showcasing his unique style!

A selection of Zimbabwean stone sculptures are available to display in the garden or even indoors. Ranging from lifelike hippo sculptures to abstract shapes and figures, each hand-carved sculpture is unique. In a variety of colours and textures, from rough to high-gloss polished surfaces, they make a distinctive feature in any garden – certainly a different option from the common cast statuette.

Compost needs are catered for with a good range of peat-free and peat-based products. Look out for special multibuy deals. Mulches, bark and topsoil are also available, as well as the new rubber landscape or play area mulch. Made from recycled rubber tyres, it comes in a range of colours to suit any particular environment and can be used under swings and slides for cushioning or as a dressing in the border.
